No. Just no. Let's be honest and real with each other. Despite the three weeks of rounds, you cannot really judge "fit" from the superficial phase or even Bid Day. Give yourself and your sorority a chance. It will take time to get to know each other. You put their name down, so that indicated you liked them well enough, even if they weren't your first or even second choice. Some girls may have had only one choice! They were the ONE who gave you the courtesy of a bid...not the others. Show some respect back by not dumping out so early unless there is some grave reason this match was a mistake. Maybe you didn't dream you'd get your last choice? But you did. If you knew this wasn't a fit, you should have had the courage to leave them off your list. Realize your bid takes a spot away from someone else who may have gotten cut completely or would be thrilled with your spot. Don't be fickle. Give it time. Chances are you'll discover some wonderful future friends and those who fought for you. Hopefully your "fit" concern isn't based on some imaginary ranking or tier. Remember--just because a banana is pretty and blemish-free on the outside, it can be bitter and hard on the inside. Other bananas have a few bruises and don't look as perfect, but on the inside, they are sweet and just right. That's your "Mom" Wisdom for the night.
