Honestly, there are so many freshmen girls and we as sorority members have so much other stuff going on during the fall semester that we're most likely not going to remember how you acted in the fall when rush comes unless you either a) are close friends with us or b) have a widely-known bad reputation (i.e. you're the girl who gets sloppy drunk and then hooks up with other people's boyfriends or you're the girl who made that sketchy post in the Class of 2019 FB group). So my best advice is to just be polite to everyone (which you should be doing anyway), focus mostly on making friends with other freshmen (some of them will be your pledge sisters this spring!) and try not to do anything shady.
