Im also in a top house on campus and i only knew a few upperclassman girls before rush in completely different houses than i ended up in and it turned out alright for me!! i would just enjoy your first semester, try not to be super sloppy at the boot, and be polite to upperclassman girls :) dont worry too much about rush night now
