Here's the deal with transfers...it's definitely harder to get in if your a sophomore. Try to stay well connected first semester, but nothing is guaranteed. Also, really consider joining a sorority as a sophomore- Your pc class will be a year younger than you (truthfully, a year less mature) and if you meet girls your own age, they will have already had a year together, so it may be difficult to acclimate. Focus on finding genuine friendships-especially with other transfer students (I've noticed a lot of them stick together) That being said, there were several sophomores taken this year into the Greek System, so by no means should you be discouraged! Definitely Rush, even if you have the slightest inkling to try it- you never know! Hope this helps:)
