Just the straight up facts. Chi O and Theta are lower top houses and made up of pretty, smart, social, and well rounded ladies. Chi O tends to be more conservative and southern and Theta more liberal and edgy. Both great houses and respected on campus for working hard/playing hard. It is rumored that Chi O gets the gorgeous girls dropped from Kappa and Theta gets the east coast girls dropped from Pi Phi, but a lot of PNMs actually choose these lower top houses because they offer more than just a top tier mentality. Phi Mu is a great house and while tier doesn’t matter, they are just heading towards lower middle tier with lots of competition from other rising houses. They have had greater success the past few years as more PNMs decide to join lower houses rather then just drop out of rush. Phi Mu does attract cheer and dance girls (so does Chi O and Theta) because Kappa and Pi Phi do not seem interested in those types. Known as the house to go if dropped by Chi O and Theta, but also a lot less drama and strong sisterhood bonds.
