Subject:
post bid day sorority rankings

Poster Message:
Top: IT Middle: DOESN’T Bottom: MATTER and before you say it, no - this is actually not coming from someone in a “bottom” tier house. Stop categorizing groups of people. Stop placing your self-worth and other’s self worth in terms of what sorority they belong to. It’s toxic, it’s immature, it’s a waste of time. Many of you who are in ‘top’ houses today were the “weird” kids in high school, the ones who were picked on and went onto college trying to start a new life. Remember that before you put others down. Many others “faked it ‘till they made it” in recruitment just to be part of a sorority that wasn’t ‘embarrassing’ or ‘lame’ to be in. ‘Middle’ and ‘bottom’ houses will do the same thing, out of insecurity and stereotyping. Recruitment is emotionally damaging and devastating to many because that is the environment that was created due to these aggressive rankings and stereotypes. YOU GUYS CREATED THIS. Stop tearing each other down, because no one cares what ‘tier’ you were in when you’re out in the real world. If you were truly happy with your sisterhood, you wouldn’t take the time to put down others. You wouldn’t be threatened or offended by the presence of other sororities on campus. If you took away the letters on your sweatshirt, what do you have then? Life is too short to care about this stuff. Every house is great. Spread love.
