Yes, it can be competitive for sophomores. A lot of houses want freshmen who will be paying dues for 7 semesters. But I know in my house, we don't really take that into consideration. What we do take into consideration is if you're a sophomore and have gone through rush before, but this isn't always a bad thing. Don't be discouraged at all, many houses are willing to take sophomores as long as you make a good impression like any other girl going through it.
