You can absolutely get a bid even if you don't know anyone. I'm in a "top" tier sorority and we gave out bids last year to girls we didn't know and some who hadn't even been at Tulane first semester. No house cuts girls because they don't know them/about them from first semester. Put your best food forward and make a good impression on open house day. Be friendly to everyone you meet, don't talk badly about anyone, etc. also BE YOURSELF
