there only used to be 3 chapters on campus. Ato, alpha Sig, and phi sig. When Au took away housing rights on campus they began accepting more and more fraternities. Sororities never had the history of on campus housing. The regulations surrounding application for the right to colonize are stricter than ever. Also, until just a few years ago the pledge classes for sororities were below 20 and this was a non issue.
