Each fraternity gives different vibes and to get an exact insight into each vibe you would need to interact with them to understand the differences. There are negatives, but no clear ones and obviously not everything I say may be true. Even so this information is more public knowledge than insider info. Here’s my neutral view on each of the top frats on campus: PSK: Clubbing frat. Social (a lotta clubbing), chill guys. But they’re exclusive and super cliquey. Other than that they’re involved with other Greek life orgs pretty regularly. Sig Ep: This is like the academic/philanthropic frat. Large and cliquey. Positive presence on campus. A pretty academically successful group. But overall the guys are very chill other than their self proclaimed/enforced exclusivity which only hinders their public view. SAE: Def the gym frat. But overall the guys are chill. More of a bar frat but they still go out clubbing more than a fair amount. They have some administrative problems but nothing major as of yet. Less cliquy and a large campus presence. Sammy: Buncha chillers, and more of an indie/stoner frat. Large to moderate campus presence but usually throws a bunch of bangers. Everyone in this org to my knowledge are vibers and all fun to chill with. They go out to bars and clubs so the weekends are pretty interesting. Less cliquy fs.
