Fall is best if you want to be in one of the sororities participating in fall recruitment. Many people I know who went through spring again didn't get options they wanted. Spring recruitment twice is hell and all but a few are left disappointed. Get to know the women in a sorority you're interested in, and it normally helps, but as long as you show a lot of interest in a fall recruitment sorority, it'll give you a good chance of getting in.
