I'm in alpha phi and no we do not care only about looks? That's a crazy thing to say? Unless you are in our house - how would you know? My friend is in a house considered mid tier and she finds my alpha phi friends nicer! But honestly, in every sorority it's really about your pledge class and the friends you make in your pledge class. We all get along but every pledge class breaks into crowds of 4 to 6 girls. If you are already asking advice on how to get into alpha phi versus actually going through rush and meeting our house and seeing if you "click"??? I didn't choose alpha phi before I went through rush, I went through rush and sifted through houses during rush like everyone else. Rush in general can feel competitive. You'll see girls crying... that can be hard. My roommate had her heart set on one sorority and ended up in another but is very happy. It worked out. I honestly liked 4 houses and then 2 and would have been happy in either or. My roommate and I got dresses together and looked similar but it really comes down to personality fit. Your conversations during rush. Anyone calling me horrible??? Does that sound nice? I wouldn't say that about anyone honestly without knowing them. We have over 100 girls??? My friends are sweet and fun.....
