Subject:
Spring 2023 Honest Frat Rankings

Poster Message:
I’m a senior that has been in Greek Life for 4 years. As we enter the Spring Semester, here is my realistic and unbiased frat rankings list. Explanations will be provided. TOP -Sig Nu -Phi Delt -ATO -KA -Tep UPPER -Zeta Psi -Dsig -Sig Chi -Lambda -Beta MIDDLE -Alpha Delt (AdPhi) -ZBT -SAE -Theta Chi LOWER MIDDLE -PSK -Phi Tau -Sig Phi -Alpha Sig BOTTOM -Sammy -Sig Tau -Pi Lam -Chi Phi Top- Sig Nu has caught up to Phi Delt. TEP is at the bottom of this list but is still top as they are a solid frat. ATO and KA are on this list as they are carried on by the legacies of previous years. Upper- Sig Chi is on the decline following mid-pledge classes. Beta is on the come up. The other frats on this list (DSig, Lambda, Zeta Psi) are pretty similar in ranking and social with sororities of similar status Middle- AdPhi has an amazing darty house on college avenue, along with great houses and a decent size, they are consistently solid. ZBT is a decent frat, the guys are real chill, but I don’t ever see them throwing socials with other frats and sororities. SAE is good, has been on the come up for the last few semesters, but their bad reputation and the fact that Whitecastle is their main house (they don’t even have a chapter house) puts them down a few rankings. Theta Chi is solid and deep in numbers, but you don’t hear much talk about them within the Greek community. Lower Middle- PSK has a solid foundation and the sororities love to social with them. Phi Tau is on the big come up, they merged with Phi Psi, therefore almost doubling in numbers, combined with a solid fall pledge house and the 5 houses they’ll have next year. Sig Phi is a very solid group of guys, lots of potential, but they don’t social enough. As for ASig, I’ve always liked them but they don’t get the respect they deserve, not sure why it is, but with their house on frat row and a solid last few pledge classes, they are in good hands. Bottom Tier Frats- They don’t have much relevance. Their big issue is (1) being too desperate in the recruiting classes (scares potential rushees away), (2) not being active enough on campus. Most importantly, do not take these things as a competition. Every fraternity is unique, has a sense of brotherhood and, frankly, tiers don’t mean much in the grand scheme of things.
