Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity Meeting of the National Board of Directors Dec. 29, 2021 Conference Call Maryland Alpha - Update Fraternity Managing Director Gillman reported that, after multiple alcohol and hazing-related incidents, the university's conduct office is likely pursuing a multi-year suspension of the Maryland Alpha chapter. The staff will recommend mirroring the university's decision to close the chapter for a period of no less than four years and get back on the expansion radar as soon as possible. The staff will provide a full report and formal recommendation when information is available.
