Wow this post and the replies made me realize how different UMD Greek life is not being in one of the top 4 sororities…. cause literally it doesn’t matter. You’re gonna find a great group of friends to go to socials and study and do service with in any of the sororities and in that respect no, UMD rush isn’t competitive. There is only a handful of circumstances where women are dropped from every chapter. So no UMD rush isn’t competitive because a successful rush is finding a home, not a competition to the top.
