you can’t assume anything about numbers frats could have smaller new member classes because they were very selective this time around or because they had a tougher time recruiting quality guys this semester frats might have bigger new member classes because they had a good rush with a larger amount of quality guys to choose from or because they only cared about numbers a good example would be lambda who had some sort of probation during this semesters rush, don’t know which but that kind of stuff contributes to losing guys to other fraternities last thing is every voting process is different and you can’t assume it gets more or less selective based on tier
