^^ They're right. HOWEVER, I'm in a low mid sorority and I have friends in top tier frats and go to their posts all the time. Where you are in tier determines who you social with officially. BUT. Any other social events (posts, day drinks, philanthropy events) everybody kind of intermingles. My sorority never really gets addresses to top tier posts though, understandably since the tier system is a thing whether you like it or not (not as much at greek rank makes it out to be, but it exists nonetheless), so if you're in a mid or low mid and want to go to darties or posts at top tier frats, you gotta have friends in them.
