snap bids are extended the morning of bid day to chapters who didn't make quota, usually extended to women who dropped early in the process. do not count on snap bids, it doesn't work out for everyone. COB is the next few weeks of extending bids, if a chapter already dropped you you won't be COB'd or snap bid'd, they only invite girls who dropped them, not the other way around
