all I will say is my friend did go to a sorority during rush which is usually put in the top tier category and she is a minority, Indian to be specific and she asked during recruitment what their diversity is like in their chapter and they girls response was oh, our diversity and inclusion chair is half black. go somewhere where you see the diversity the chapter has and not everyone who looks exactly the same.
