First off lady, times have changed. I don't know whether your daughter is attending UMD or will attend UMD, but if Greek life is SO important to you, then perhaps Maryland might not be the place. And if you're "turned off" by these "shallow statements", try looking at other school's ratings and comments...I can guarantee you that they aren't any better. Lastly, if you're not Greek, you have no idea what you're talking about. We are more than just "looks". Take a look at the stats, the majority of famous people and successful entrepreneurs in this country are Greek...clearly, we've got the brains too. That being said, you basically need to be the whole package.
