I’m genuinely really curious as to why this sorority chose to keep the letters of the actual SLG after the group didn’t meet their HQs standards… Your website says that you broke off because it’s illegal to have a GPA requirement in Canada which is… literally just not true? GPA is not a protected class, which makes it seem like the explaination on your website isn’t what actually happened. What happens when you go to the US, do you just not wear letters there? If you did, someone would absolutely think you were part of the actual Sigma Lambda Gamma and would be very weirded out by you wearing their letters, especially considering the history… idk I could just never see myself feeling okay with that and it confuses me a lot. How do you rationalize this?
