If Phi Sig is closing because of hazing, at least some sisters (the ones who did the hazing) will get their letters taken away (aka they're no longer sisters of Phi Sig. If Phi Sig is closing for something less serious, the current Phi Sig sisters will probably be made alums of the sorority. Either way, Phi Sig is shutting down. The name Phi Sigma Sigma is trademarked (every Greek org that's not a local has their letters trademarked). Once a chapter is shut down, they're not allowed to function under that name. So, the current Phi Sig sisters aren't allowed to continue as a local chapter as Phi Sig. Unless they want to be sued.
