I rushed Tri Delta as a junior in Fall 97 as a single mother at 21 yrs old. A classmate of mine invited me to a Rush party and was very open to the house about my parent status. Yes it was Fall and the house was low on numbers a bit however I was welcomed with open arms and my then 5 yr old daughter was like a very little sister to them all. Brought her to a couple of events at the house and it didn't keep me from my member responsivenes or my schooling and I worked part time as well. When you advise anyone to give up on having it all I know it's possible as I did and that was over 25 yrs ago so I'm guessing there is even more leniency now on the issue.
