I'm in greeklife and this is guy is a douche. It's not a "you" problem, its just UCLA can take adjusting to. Getting into greeklife doesn't automatically bestow you with friends. I didn't really feel like I was friends with a lot of dudes in my pledge class until about year after I rushed. All greek life does is put you in a group and plan your social life a bit. You can easily be in Greeklife and not have friends. Joining greeklife can't hurt, but it's also not the only way to make friends. If you're a freshman don't worry if you don't have a social circle yet it just takes some time. This place can be huge, beurocratic and overwhelming. You got this!
