Wow, you have a lot of questions. Calm down. If you go through fall formal recruitment, you won't just be thrown into a conversation. You'll be greeted by a sister, you'll have a one-on-one conversation, and the sorority handles all the logistics - conversation changes, activities, when to do what, etc. You're not expected to know what they're schedule is or how they're handling it. They'll spend weeks practicing all that so it's seamless for you. I foresee you having a lot more questions, so, once again, go to GreekChat. It's a MUCH MUCH more informative, supportive, structured community of mostly alumni, but many actives and parents of actives from around the country. Go through those forums (there are more than you have time to read), and you'll learn all you need to know.
