I'm going to take this question at face value and assume that it's not a joke (that might be a mistake on my part, though). Row Walks are different than what you're describing. They're announcements made to each sorority and fraternity house during Monday night dinner. Usually made by only a couple of people to announce upcoming events, philanthropies, etc. Fraternities might bring their new pledge class by each sorority, but that doesn't really happen in the reverse. There's no obligation to ever do a row walk - people usually volunteer for it. What you're talking about has a term at some large southern universities like squeal day, squeal run, etc., typically describing the excited squeals the new pledges are making.And at those schools, it can be a big event with half the university and parents standing by to watch. It's much different at UCLA, with fewer, if any, bystanders just watching. During the fall, you have hundreds of women gathering on campus or Ackerman or somewhere with representatives from each sorority, and walking over together as a group. It's going to be hard to avoid that, but it' also fun and you'll be surrounded by new sisters. There's also no obstacle course. You're just walking (sometimes pretty briskly) to the houses. Winter and Spring are different, and this year Panhellenic isn't doing any formal recruitment for either term. You'll simply walk over to the house, but I don't know if it'll be in a group or not.
