UCLA is ranked 20 by US News, USC is ranked 22. Both schools have 16% acceptance rates, but only one was tied up in a massive college admissions scandal. If the movers and shakers of LA are Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannuli, then I’ll take my chances at UCLA. No one from the elite schools back east wants anything to do with USC grads anymore. The only degrees from CA that mean anything to old money East Coasters are Berkeley, UCLA, Cal Tech, and Stanford. Have fun living off Daddy’s name, though!
