Just be aware that certain houses have a national drop once drop always policy. Meaning if they cut you at any point in the process during a previous rush, you will be cut again. It’s to be fair to other girls who are first time rushees (doesn’t matter year in school, a sophomore can still be a first time rushee) this is a national policy that they always follow no exceptions. So if you’re taking the risk that the house you wanted is one of those with that policy (and there’s about half I would say with that policy) then don’t complain later if they cut you right away. Also you say you clicked with that other house but they didn’t give you a bid (and if you made it to pref round and you didn’t get your number 1 choice that’s telling) they didn’t think you fit in then. Remember the top houses have a way of making every girl FEEL like you belong (they’re great at recruiting that’s why they’re top) but in actuality they’re only going to ultimately offer BIDS to the ones they truly wanted. They do this to maximize their numbers so every girl potentially picks them every round that way in the last round they can have their best choices
