In alphabetical order within tier becauseif you’re in the same tier you have similar social calendars and events. And have the same amount of members “quota”. # of members is the best way to determine “ranks” or “tiers” Houses with more members is proof they do well during recruitment (get a full pledge class and meet quota). AND it means they’re enjoyable enough that as their recruits get into upper classman years They are still members of the house. . Houses with less members are seen as less desirable during rush (often not meeting the quota of girls accepting bids during rush), forced to have the dreaded winter or spring recruitment to try and get more members, and have more girls drop the sorority in their later years leading to a deficit in their overall quota. These numbers are from Panhellenic.
