<strong>Subject:</strong><br />should i drop?<br /><br /> Poster Message:
There is a group of girls in my sorority who are very cliquey and talk so much sheet about me behind my back. When I was still a pledge,I followed a lot of the girls in my sorority on Instagram, Twitter, and snapchat and all of the girls in the clique unfollowed me over the course of a week (very sketch). They don't know that I know, or think I notice, but I do. It messed with my head so much, I am thinking I should just drop. I don't want these girls to influence my happiness, but I am going to be seeing these girls until they or I graduate and that idea scares me. I can't go to exec because some of them are on exec or close friends with exec. Before I joined my sorority, I felt so confident in myself, so comfortable with who I was, very socially outgoing, and I considered myself to be very pretty. Since I joined my sorority I have felt more and more insecure, like something is wrong with me. I feel left out. I don't enjoy the same things my sisters enjoy. At recruitment, I could hold a conversation anyone at anytime. Now, I can't hold a conversation with most of my so-called "sisters" at all... Its like talking to a wall. It's so ironic because I have experienced the exact opposite of what my sorority promises for new members. Joining a sorority actually wrecked my individuality and self confidence. It is the WORST place to make friends. High school pettiness all over again, but so much worse.
