I'm a fifth year but this reminded me of my freshman year roommates experience and it made me sad that nothing has changed since then. Long story short she dropped after their mom's day event when right before the event they called her to the house to tell her it would be best of she and her mom skipped the event because her mom didn't speak English and it might be uncomfortable for her. She came back to the room crying and didn't know what to tell her mom she dropped immediately the following Monday. It was really sad and reading this made me heart heavy all over again. I can't believe this is still going on and the school does nothing about it
