It's pretty universally known that Theta took a big dive in their fall pledge class compared to traditional Theta standards, but I find it hard to say that one year really moves their standing that much. (Same for Kappa's meteoric rise this year). One year can be a fluke, and plenty of chapters have rebounded from one or two off years. And while spring rush is not generally a great sign - you'll notice that every spring there are one or two top houses that do it for a handful of spots. Alpha Phi and Chi O did spring recruitment last year.
