If you want the real Fraternity experience, rush an IFC chapter at CSIF is where it is at. Since they are on campus they get to interact with tons of sororities and other events. I know like the majority of guys who rushed an IFC house are cool as hell. The only down fall to these chapters is that they have rules but are consider the real houses of CSUF. By the way join TKE if you dont want to be part of the campus life and greek life in general.
