Subject:
heres some real advice for spring rushees

Poster Message:
Get off this website I went through Spring rush three years ago and I only got invited to three houses. Two of them were "bottom" houses and one was a "good" house. Of course after reading all the crap on here, I ONLY wanted the "good" house. I almost didn't even go to the "bottom" houses rush events because my head was THAT far up my ass about this popularity BS. Truth is, I ended up HATING the good house. I didn't like any of the girls I met, I didn't feel comfortable. The opposite happened at the bottom houses. I loved the girls, had a good time, and never felt like I was being judged or walking on eggshells. Clearly I accepted a bid to a "bottom" house. And guess what? I've never once regretted it. No one has ever stopped me in the SUB and pointed and laughed because I was a DG. No one actually cares. This website completely distorts reality and it's toxic. This is the first time I've been on since my first semester in the sorority. Sad to see nothing has changed. Just go into Spring rush with an open mind the same as you would during fall. All of the chapters on campus are sweet girls with strong sisterhoods. I've loved every minute in my bottom tier sorority. Don't let people hiding behind computers keep you from a great sisterhood.
