AXiD will do great - they've already been given a warm welcome by Tech Panhellenic and believe it or not, there are TONS of quality women at Tech who are not already Greek for one reason or another that will make AXiD into something wonderful. Many were cut for whatever reason, others dropped, and some never even went through recruitment. There is plenty of room on campus for another quality sorority - it's up to everyone to pull together and make them a success. Other major universities have had new sororities colonize and become successful. Will they be considered "top tier" overnight? No, because Tech is too entrenched in that thinking, and many are unwilling to accept that the strength of the community comes from supporting each other and not tearing each other down...but they will recruit some amazing women & the opportunity to be a founding sister will be a big draw for some strong leaders who haven't yet found their Greek home.
