You get lots of people self ranking their fraternities/sororities to boost their ratings and you get members of fraternities/sororities giving bad ranks to other houses. Just go into rush with an open mind and do not let greek rank have any impact on your decisions. There are some fraternities I've never even heard of that have a very high ranking and there are huge fraternities that have awful rankings.
