Hi!

Poster Message:
I am not a Pi Phi and I haven't met you so I have no idea what went through the minds of the girls that did talk to you and I am sure that, regardless, you are a wonderful girl (particularly considering that you did find a chapter to call home) but as a alumna of a sorority with knowledge of the proceedings that takes place with legacies, I figured I could fill you in. If a chapter is informed that a legacy will be rushing, they assign certain girls to chat with her (girls that most likely have recruited before, are more experienced and feel comfortable talking to a legacy, girls in exec positions, etc.) and it is also very common, if not required, that the president meets with a legacy. Also, my sorority requires that a legacy be asked back to at least second rounds (philanthropy rounds) as a courtesy. So, regardless of the experience you had the first rounds with Pi Phi, they were obligated to ask you back. Now, I am sure you are a great girl but perhaps the current Pi Phi's or this particular chapter did not see you fitting in with the current girls in the chapter and felt you'd be best else where and, thus, cut you. So, shorter version, they most likely had to (or at least like to) have the president and other older girls talk to a legacy, as well as invite them back to second rounds.
