There are so many things you don’t know that happened behind the scenes, yet you felt the need to address this anonymously and on a website that does not accurately portray ANY sorority at Texas Tech??? Here is the thing, Alpha Phi has an incredible sisterhood and this is coming from someone who was a friend of the girl who passed and in a different sorority than her. Alpha Phi was very limited on what they could do in terms of posting a message for the girl, her sisters, and her family due to her parents wishes. Regardless, alpha phi had a memorial where her sisters were free to mourn for her and have access to resources like counselors. Alpha phi even reached out to me to see if I’m okay, and again, I’m not in that sorority. For anyone reading, I hope you are seeing the impact of gossip. It hurts. This is painful for not only me but to any friend of the girl who passed. Love people everyday and don’t speak on things you would never in person
