Yes, I think girls go through recruitment thinking Pi Phi is the top house here so it does make it very competitive getting in. However, this is just perpetuating the illusion it is the "best" house. Once girls get in & initiated they're stuck. Have to keep up the facade of how great it is cause what else they gonna do? More time spent trying to convince everyone (and themselves) about how "great" they are instead of enjoying sisterhood and colllege.
