@raidermom, curious did your daughter not receive a bid at all or just not her preferred house? As an outsider looking in based on your comments, you sound as though she is somehow entitled to a bid & the process failed her. The system should not change because for whatever reason your daughter didn't seem to be a good fit for the existing houses or she didn't get s bid to her preferred house. That attitude will get you cut pretty quick at all the houses. I would like to suggest the Christian sororitys on campus. They are great groups and I believe no cut. There are also a lot of other great clubs here. Sorry your hurt for your daughter, but lashing out on the system as a whole is really misguided and mean.
