Yes, each frat has a Head Frat Boy that dictates who each member can hang out with. Boys must fill out a FHOR (formal hangout request) to hang out with non-sorority women, regardless of how long they have been in their frat. One form must be submitted per woman, per hangout. Sometimes it takes months or even years for approval from the Head Frat Boy, and there are cases where a FHOR has never been approved. In those situations, the sorority woman is never even able to sit next to a frat boy in class. However, it has been said that women who are psychology majors are less likely to have their FHORs rejected. I would recommend changing your major for your best shot.
