I think it's really cool that you're passionate about philanthropy! What everyone has been saying is mostly true, in every sorority you'll have opportunities to do hands on things, you'll have opportunities to donate, to fundraiser, etc. It's up to you to take those opportunities. My advice is to have a list of specific questions to ask on philanthropy day, you can ask the girls you're talking to about what their chapter as a whole does, what individual opportunities there are, how much money was raised, etc. Think of questions you want to ask and you'll be able to hear firsthand what the sororities do, this way you can judge for yourself (because let's face it, greekrank is a little too biased). Having questions will also make you seem more prepared and interested, so it's a win-win! Good luck!
