You will see heavy cuts the first day with that gpa. Unless you are a legacy or have major pull, I wouldn't expect to go back to many houses other than A d Pi, A xi D, possibly KD and DG, maybe A phi or Zeta if you have everything else going for you. If there is a particular reason your gpa is below a 2.75, (for ex: a learning disability, a bad year grades wise due to a family emergency, etc) you could consider relaying that information on to the women writing your letters of recommendation and they could make note of it on their letters to the chapter.
