In my opinion I would not say there is a lot of pressure to drink. I am a freshman this year and I joined a sorority and I absolutely do not drink or really party that much at all! I feel with anything, it is what you make of it if you want to drink you will have no problem and vice versa. Sure there are a lot of opportunities to party and drink, it is college, but nobody has judged me for my choices and I have made great friends! However I feel like it works both ways and its best not to judge girls for drinking just because you dont. I feel thats how some girls get isolated, not because they abstain from alcohol! But I think you should rush it wont be a problem at all I know girls in all the houses, even the ones that are typically associated with being heavy partiers, that dont drink!
