I wouldn’t say Sig Chi is more popular with girls than Cal Phi, they just attract different types. Cal Phi attracts the “edgy” dg/Aphi/theta girls (who usually end up dropping out of their sororities) whereas Sig Chi attracts the more studious sorority girls. Also Cal Phi’s association with Pike gives them a big edge imo.
