Go to sig pi's rush events in the fall even if you don't plan on pledging. It helps you get a feel for fraternity rush that will definitely help in the winter, but only pref if you vibe perfectly with the guys. Lots of guys pledge there to party before everyone else but drop because they don't fit in with the guys. Also for winter rush, get a feel for every house fall quarter and choose one or two that you like most to rush. You are only considered for your first choice, and rushing a bunch of houses will just tire you out and affect your ability to choose the house that will be best for you personally.
