Okay you shouldn't join a sorority if you aren't ready for catiness. There will be a lot of it in ANY sorority. Sororities at GW must have 160 girls minimum right now, drama is bound to happen. Having said this for me my sorority experience has proven worthwhile because of my sorority family. I wish sororities were smaller there would be a lot less drama. I pay my own dues and I will continue to pay them because I have gotten so many positives out of this experience. I met amazing people that I probably would have never met and my sorority has provided me with a lot of wonderful opportunities including my current internship. Also you are interested in the top tier sororities which creates a few issues: 1.) As a sophomore it will be harder to get into a the top tier sorority 2.) you're trying to avoid being catty.... the top tier has the most catiness. Not only are there internal issues but also issues with trying to beat the other top tier sororities to be the top. 3.) Honestly most drama free is probably Phi Sig. They're ranked really low but they really don't seem to care, they seem to be happy with themselves, I really respect them for that. The middle tier sororities such as KD and PiPhi will also have less drama than the top tier.
