Obviously do all the normal things like keep an open mind, get your rest, keep your social media clean, etc but outside of that - BE NICE - you have no idea which women in the house you dislike are best friends/roommates/biological sisters with members in the house you do like. Same goes with Pi Rho Chis. Be nice, or it will bite you in the ass. Maximize your options - unless you'd rather not be in any sorority at all, list every chapter you visited on pref on your MRABA. The chapter that keeps inviting you back sees something in you and wants you as a sister. That should be the most important thing. The sisters know their chapters better than you do. They know what they're looking for, even if you think you're a perfect fit. You're meeting maybe 10 women from each chapter throughout this whole process. That's maybe 1/12 of their members. There are party girls, smart girls, awkward girls, sporty girls, and everyone in between and you can find your people no matter what chapter you join. Your major is not harder than anyone else's. The women in these chapters are human beings. They're nervous, excited, and a little confused too. They will cry if their favorite PNMs don't end up in their chapter, just like you might cry if you get released from your favorite chapter. Trust your gut and take everything with a grain of salt. Dirty rushing is a thing, but the majority of actives will not actually know where any PNM sits on the chapter's list, how they're scored, what their GPA is, their own chapter's return rates, etc. Most actives will not know why a PNM was released, either. Finally, your Pi Rho Chi is there for you. Be open with her, she is not there to judge you, and you may need her more than you realize.
