A girl holds a puece of fruit over her head and announces she is black...but everyday, you turn on the TV and hear the African American community call each orher the "N" word and that is acceptable to the African American community and anyone else listening. Does anyone else see the hypocracy in that? We are surrounded with the "N word in the black community, in lyrics by black musicians and people flip out over this? Perhaps the African American community also needs to take a look at the word choices in the media, amongst themselves etc... that perpetuate attitudes and influence in other races. Racism is everywhere and it takes every person learning and participating in candid discussions. Pointing fingers at dumb white girls that used no common sense does not alleviate the root cause of the issue. You are in a learning institution, make change happen. Do the root cause and figure out a solution to help combat racism instead of whining and fingerpointing at a couple stupid sorority girls that didn't think before flapping their lips.
