some people do take this stuff seriously especially PNMs. I can't tell you how many girls I've overheard at parties asking frat guys what the "good sororities are" and "what chapter to rush" or during recruitment talking about rankings. It's usually not until after being in the chapter and experiencing what really being in a sorority is right do these girls understand how silly all this is. I know I listened when I was a freshman, and I'd hate for anyone to go into recruitment with the same mindset I did.
